Buhari approves 30 new judges for Federal High Court

President Muham­madu Buhari has approved the ap­pointment of 30 judges for the Federal High Court on the recommenda­tion of the National Judi­cial Council.
The new judges, with their states of orign are Justices Yellin S. Bogoro – Bauchi; Rosemary O. Dugbo Oghog­horie – Delta; Taiwo Obayo­mi Taiwo – Ogun; Ibrahim Watila – Borno;

Mallong Peter Hoommuk – Plateau; Isa Hamma Adama Dashen -Adamawa; Hassan Dikko – Kebbi.
Others are Justices Jude Kanyioh Dagat – Kaduna; Olayinka Olusegun Tokode – Osun; Simon Akpah Amobe­da, – Kogi ; Jane Egienanwan Inyang – Cross River ; Dan­iel Emeka Osiagor – Rivers ; Prof. Chuka Austine Obio­zor – Anambra ; Iniekenimi Nicholas Oweib – Bayelsa;
Other new justices include, Hassan Muslim Sule – Zam­fara State; Hadiza Rabiu Shagari – Sokoto ; Saleh Kogo Idrissa – Yobe ; Joyce Obehi Abdulmalik – Edo; Hillary Ide Osho Oshomah – Edo; Fadima Murtala Aminu – Adamawa; Toyin Bolaji Ad­egoke – Kwara ; James Kola­wole Omotosho – Ogun.
The rest are Justices Ne­hizena Idemudia Ekun­we – Edo; Stephen Daylop Pam – Plateau; Akintayo Aluko – Ekiti; Dr. Nnamdi O. Dimgba – Abia; Emeka Nwite – Ebonyi; Abdulazeez M.Z. Anka – Zamfara; Abdu Dogo – FCT; and Justice Ad­amu Turaki Muhammed – Jigawa.
A statement signed by Mr. Soji Oye the Acting Director Information National Judicial Council said the new judges will be sworn in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) Jus­tice Mahmud Mohammed who is also the Chairman of the National Judicial Council on Wednesday, by 10.00 a.m.
