Hosts Senegal and South Africa will set the ball rolling when they cross paths in the opening match of the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations today at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium, Dakar.
The two teams will open the curtains for the eight team tourney which serves as ultimate lap for the continental qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The Senegalese capital, Dakar, will host Group A whilst Group B will be based in M’Bour.
The final tournament will run from 28 November to 12 December 2015, with the top three teams qualifying to represent Africa at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
