UNDER-17 World Cup coach, Emmanuel Amuneke has been given more responsibilities by the Nigeria Football Federation adding the U-20 national team to his portfolio.
Amuneke led the Golden Eaglets to conquer the World in Chile and the NFF confirmed yesterday that the former Super Eagles player would assist coach Manu Garuba at the U-20(Flying Eagles) while still retaining his position as the chief coach of the Golden Eaglets.
President of the NFF, Pinnick Amaju said that Manu Garuba and Amuneke have a relationship that would be beneficial to Nigerian football.
‘’Amuneke will assist Garuba in the U-20 and still retain his position as the gaffer of the U-17. We want to pay more attention to these teams because they are the future of our senior national team,’ he said.
