Miss Ambassador for Peace Nigeria release's new pics, visits IDP camp, set to host Peace Football Tournament

The reigning Miss Ambassador For Peace Nigeria, Queen Judith Okwunodu has released her first official photo shoot ‎after her emergence as the winner at the star-studded finals of the 2015 event held in Sheraton hotel Abuja.

The shoots which were taken in choice locations is designed to promote the Queen Judith Okwunodu Peace Football Tournament holding in Delta state‎ from 21st - 27th of December.

Eight communities in Ika North-East, Delta State will be involved in this one week tournament. The participating teams ‎drawn from the state are Otolokpo, Umunede, Ute-Okpu, Akumazi, Owa-Aliro, Nbiri,  Owerri-Olubu and Owa-Oyibo. ‎

Winner of this soccer contest will go home with the sum of N200,000,  first Runner-up 150,000 and Second Runner-up 100,000 with the Grand Finale holding on 27th December at  Umunede, Delta State.


Prior to this arrangement, the beauty queen‎ visited the IDP camp in Abuja where she gave out cash and food items, and also encouraged them to be strong.



Speaking to cross section of journalists, the project director Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said the Queen Judith Okwunodu Peace Football Tournament is a soccer contest aimed at promoting peace and uniting the people of the state especially at this festive period. He further stated that the choice of the football concept is because football is a passionate unifying factor in the world today. According to him, the visit to Abuja IDP camp is to provide for those affected by bomb blast and other disasters that has bedeviled  the northern part of Nigeria.
